August Breeding Value Estimation: Five Strong Newcomers at Bullseye Genetics
The August breeding value estimation at Bullseye Genetics was all about our five newcomers. All five bulls impress with interesting profiles and offer exciting possibilities for a wide variety of breeding goals—from maximum performance to polledness and red, all the way to conformation and robot suitability.
Tinder – 156 RZG (Surfer × Rainow)
With an RZG of 156, Tinder starts off at a very high level. This son of Surfer impresses particularly with his exceptional performance: 204 kg of fat and protein make him a true production powerhouse.
At the same time, Tinder has a flawless overall profile and, thanks to his pedigree, can be used with nearly all bloodlines. This makes him not only a production specialist but also an extremely versatile mating partner.
Gone-P-Red – 149 RZG / 1055 PF (No. 1 PF Red-and-White) (Medy-Red-P × Mozart-PP)
Gone-P-Red combines polled status and red & white colour with enormous performance potential. The heterozygous polled bull achieves 149 RZG and delivers an impressive +1,849 kg of milk.
His profile is rounded out by a good productive life. This makes Gone-P-Red an exceptionally interesting sire for both polled and horned cows.
Longdrink-RF – 148 RZG / 3280 TPI / 33 NTM / 210 ISU (Shield × Pinball)
Longdrink-RF offers particularly promising sire performance for red and black cows. With Johnboy, Swift, and Commander, this bull boasts an exciting pedigree that traces back to the world-famous Comestar Laurie Sheik VG-88.
Longdrink-RF impresses both by German standards with 148 RZG and by American standards with 3280 TPI.
His exceptionally harmonious and flawless conformation, along with his good suitability for robotic milking, make him a very interesting all-around bull for modern dairy farms.
Lopez-P-RF – 141 RZG (Mega-Red-P × Mo-Red-PP)
Production, Conformation, and Polledness
He is based on the well-known Comestar Goldwyn Lilac VG-89 cow family. He combines 1,476 kg of milk with an outstanding 132 RZE and offers this combination as a hornless bull with the red carrier. Added to this is an excellent linear profil and strong secondary traits.
Lopez-P-RF is thus a well-rounded bull that combines production, conformation, polledness, and the red carrier in one package.
Antek – 3362 TPI / 35 NTM (Keanu × Momento)
Antek rounds out our new quintet as a high-performing Keanu son with 3362 TPI. In addition to his high total breeding value, he impresses with a very good productive life, solid conformation, and 150 kg of fat and protein.
His balanced profile makes him an interesting and well-rounded bull. At the same time, Antek offers an exciting alternative for breeders specifically seeking alternatives to Captain and Sheepster bloodlines.
Even the well-established bulls remain strong
In addition to our five newcomers, the already established Bullseye favorites also impressively maintained their strong breeding values.
ACDC with 3334 TPI, Juventus with 154 RZG, Rooney with 149 RZG, and Austin with 147 RZG once again confirm their position in our lineup.
As a result, even after the August breeding value estimation, Bullseye Genetiks continues to offer a wide selection of high-performing and modern genetic solutions—for prodution, conformation, polledness, red & white, and robot suitability.
